Gabrielle Frost

Is a painter based in Wollongong, Australia

Gabrielle is an artist, daughter, sister, partner and student lawyer hailing from Townsville, Far North Queensland. Her works are an appreciation of her Aboriginal and Scottish heritage, drawing discourse between the two nations and their colonial degradation.

Her research on the Great Barrier Reef after watching its demise in 2017 has led her to develop a community that protects and understands the land we live on. She argues that with access to education, political reform and recognition of first nations people, the reef will transform to its former glory.

Gabrielle currently lives in Wollongong, NSW with her dog, Gypsy.
